*Not* 2 Cute *for* Ink

Okay - maybe that's a bad play on words, but it's what I've been playing with lately. All these adorable images over at 2 Cute Ink. I've added some of my cards to the monthly challenges and some for my daughter's upcoming 20th -day.

I made this card for Em and colored the little kitten to look like her little Chemmies kitty. She turns 20 on the 25th. My 1st born and all I keep thinking is "where'd the time go?!"

 

 I put this card in for the monthly fall themed challenge.

Got Trick or Treats?

I do!

Today I am bringing you a new Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Friday Challenges. My fav theme: Halloween!!  I made a really cute Origami treat bag, shaped like a paper lunch bag. I will admit I fiddled with this bag sooooo much, just couldn't get the size I really needed with the 1st (or 3rd) try!

I used velum to make the bag and the embossing was actually an afterthought. I used an image from The Paper Shelter. Love those little images. You really should play along so you can WIN some great images from this store!! Go here (Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Friday Challenges) to add your project to the linky and keep your fingers crossed. Spook-tacular

Hello -

I've missed you guys. I've had to take a break from "live" posts due to health, but I'm feeling much better now and will get back to posting more "live" and less just scheduled projects. I wanted to share you with a really cute card for Halloween using a Scribbles Designs image.

The papers are a mix of digi papers, Neenah and SU. The sentiment is from Craft Secrets, ribbon from SU.

Thankful for love

Hello again! Posting today for The Robin's Nest - It's coming quickly up on the holidays and with that my thoughts turn to all the wonderful things and people in my life that I am thankful for. I also know I will be having a few of my family members over for a wonderful meal... I wanted to make a few little décor items I could easily tuck in and around the buffet table. But 1st, a sweet little card for my hubby...

Sew proud of you

When I was young, my Grannie made clothes for us, my mom did as well. You know, my daughter actually wore some of the clothes that had been made for me or my sisters! So it was natural for me to fall in love with sewing. I took every sewing related class while in High School and still am a very active seamstress to this day. I knew I had to find a way to use this most adorable Kitty Bee Design in a challenge. This challenge gave me just that chance!

Halloween Treat Holder

Hi again my friends!!

We have a really fun challenge going on at Scribbles Designs right now. It's time to reach into your bag of tricks and pull out some old school fancy folding or special shapes. I've been looking for treat holders to had out to family, friends and my son's classmates for Halloween and the rest of the upcoming holidays. Here's a really easy and super cute holder I made for this challenge.

Just a little crafty

I have just finished another Christmas card that I think may just be my fav so far this year. And, I have Angie from Chic n Scratch to thank for it! Here's the original card she made for her trip to convention.

Oh so lucky me

Howdy All! We are midway thru our current challenge  at Scribbles Design Team! You still have plenty of time to whip out a wonderful creation to enter in the challenge!! Don't forget the current challenge is all about luck.

 

Before you jump to say "well Peggie Sue, that's not a very detailed card there hon" - lemme 'splain a little 'sumpin to ya... I have only just stepped into the world of the Digi (April of this year) I must admit, at 1st I thought "so what's the big deal?" I figured I'd really NEED my rubber stamps to hold and squeeze and love and tuck in at night. Well, 1500 images later - I'm so hooked.

 

But I can still hear you still asking "what's so special about this card??" It's cuz I printed the images directly onto the card base itself!! Before now I had to print then die cut or fussy cut the image out. I was frustrated I couldn't make a single layer card if I wanted to. BUT, using PowerPoint I was able to use the grid and then place my images to print on a 4.25 x 5.5 card base! Go me - Go me - (lol)

Just a little quickie

I was working in the lab late one night,

"When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my monster from his slab began to rise
And suddenly to my surprise......"

I'mmmmm back! Gonna share this adorable Halloween KBD image with you. I used my Copics to ink up this little bat, BUT,  I couldn't have Frankenbatt be all alone in the night, now could I? So I found an uninhabited, yet haunted, mansion sitting on a little hill, already conveniently lite by a low moon. And now, I'm stratified that my little Frankenbatt will have a most wonderful home to live in.

So now I'm sure you would love to know about the current challenge over at Kitty Bee Design Blog - Aloha Friday Challenges - it's all about the music!
